This iPad Air 10.9 2020 / 2022 (4th / 5th Generation) silicone smart magnetic stand case with pencil holder encompasses all the important design aspects you need in a cover. The case is slim and lightweight so adds minimal bulk to the iPad, yet is also made from strong, durable and fingerprint free material. The back of the cover is made from flexible silicone, which provides great shockproof protection and ensures that none of the corners will crack as is often the case with other hardback covers.
The front cover features tri-folds which fold over to form a stand, a stand that actually stands up and won't topple over at the slightest touch. You can easily type or watch movies on your iPad with this cover without the frustration of it falling over.
Not only does this case have storage for your Apple Pencil ensuring it is not lost in transit, but it will also allow you to charge the pencil through the side of the case (Pencil 2 only).
When not in use the cover is held closed with strong magnets that also work in unison with the all-important sleep/wake function of the iPad, helping maintain battery life.

Please note: The pencil slot on the case is for storing the pencil only. In order to charge it you can place the pencil 2 along the outer edge of the other side of the case. The silicone is thinner along this groove and allows you to charge the pencil without the need for removing the case.
Is your model number not listed? iPads have two model numbers. In the General settings menu, under 'About' where you see the model number listed (usually beginning with an M), if you tap on it, it will reveal a second model number starting with the letter A and followed by 4 numbers, this should match one of those listed above. I'm really pleased with this iPad case, it's great quality and looks smart. Also very happy with the service from case happy, the case was sent with free next day delivery and I also spoke with an advisor on livechat who was extremely helpful.
I ordered 2 of these covers in different colours, 1 for me and 1 for my partner. We're really pleased with them :-) They're smart to look at (we got the dark green and lavender) feel sturdy and give really good protection.
I love the colour of the green case, it's a pastel green colour. The case is also very soft to the touch. It functions well and feels protective. It stands up very well with the front cover having a magnet to stick to itself to form a triangle at the back.
My only issue is I find it hard to use the fingerprint scanner as there is a lip on the front side. It took a couple of attempts for it to recognise my print as I unlock it from the front side rather than from the back where the lip is lower.
Ordered an iPad Air cover in light blue, it fits perfectly and protects my iPad from any scratches. Does add a slight bit of weight to the iPad, but I have got used to it now. For the price paid, it is really good value for money, and I recommend it. Thank you case happy.
